The Founder – 

Harry Truman

I have worked in the optical industry for almost 40 years. Practical experience includes assembly and testing of optical instruments for military purposes such as tank and naval periscopes. Most of this work has been to M.O.D. standard. I also gained extensive experience working on a wide variety of viewing instruments including night vision equipment, and many other optical components used for surveillance, scientific and industrial purposes.

Further experience includes anti reflection coatings, cementing and other processes. With my past experience as Quality Control Manager I can ensure that my services are of a high standard for all my customers. 

Our Experience

We have repaired and serviced sports optics including binoculars, small telescopes, riflescopes and microscopes, as well as military equipment and numerous other types of optical instruments.

Our workshop consists of specialist tools and equipment including a binocular collimator.

We have worked on makes and models including:
Bushnell, Carl Zeiss, Bausch & Lomb, Barr & Stroud, Nikon
