What We Do

Repairs and Service

We can repair and service almost any binocular old or new. This includes most zoom binoculars that many other repairers won’t touch. We also repair and service spotting scopes, small telescopes and opera glasses.  Microscopes also come in to our service capabilities.

Obtaining parts for many binocular models can be difficult, although we have a fair selection in stock.

Please view our binocular and spotting scope models pages to see a list of some of the makes repaired and serviced by us. This includes Bushnell, Carl Zeiss, Bausch & Lomb, Barr & Stroud, Nikon and Opticron.

We are always looking for replacement parts so am pleased to take on old or unrepairable binoculars and other instruments for recycling. We will pay the postage costs and extra, if the parts are in demand.

Ex military Equipment

We service and re-furbish ex army and navy optical equipment which includes binoculars, monoculars, periscopes, and other sighting systems and components. However, please enquire prior to sending, as some of these optical instruments need specialist tooling and testing equipment that we may not have.

Optical Assembly

Optical sub-assemblies and components assembled in a clean and dust free environment. All components supplied by customer.

U V Cementing

The cement between glass components can break down over time. This can usually be detected by a flowery shaped pattern between the lenses or prisms. We can strip and re-cement doublets and prisms as well as other optical components.
